eKKo

Welcome to ekko for your Windows 7 desktop.

To get started you'll first need to make sure your system is patched to accept themes.

I recommend using uxstyle.com/ for a user friendly install.

Here is a more in depth article on installing Visual Styles or Themes.

fav.me/d4chfla

Once your system is patched it's time to install the themes.

Place the contents of the downloaded 'themes' folder into your

'WindowsResourcesThemes' folder.

You should then be able to see your themes installed if you right click on your desktop and select 'personalize' from the menu.  There you'll be able to choose which them you wish to use.

If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

cheers to my mates...

ap-graphik & andredk for the inspiration and resources.

I've made some sort of a tribute to this deviation on one Color theme of my cPro2 Styler Skin, so it blends nicely when using both together, on this blog you can see the outcome, hope you like it!

(I'm posting it on each deviation so it's easier for people to know which ones got a CT)

How do you only show words in the taskbar (no icons)? I've tried replacing the program icon with a blank .png, but no luck. It still shows the default icon.....

God I miss this on Windows 8. Customization is so mindblowingly limited VS wise. :(

Beautiful. Really makes me wish I could get W7 back!

Seems to be a problem with the frame for the navigation buttons. i60.tinypic.com/qs3ud1.png
How come you didn't use the Gingerbread & Coffee ones, anyway?

I see in the comments you used reshacking to change the icons. The taskbar icons themselves i assume you replaced them with the ones in the shot? I'm not too sure if I'm asking the right question or not, but could you share the icons?

fav-ed it and applied it. The browser and jump-list does need fine-tuning. Looking forward to the updates

Jump-list looks a bit rubbish as well.
