Thank you very much for this. I know this was posted over 2 years ago now, but if you still happen to know where to find the icon set are you using in my computer on the screenshot I seem to see that icon in the zip.
First let me thank the @neiio for this amazing classy theme. Simply one of the best i've seen for a long time. Quick questions: - Is this them compatible with Win 7 x64? - If YES, i went over and installed everything as mentioned and followed all the steps, reboot my system and unfortunately my taskbar, icons (hdd etc..) nothing looks like what we see in the screenshot above. I replaced the explorerframe.dll (the x32 to the x64 folder and the x64 to the x32 right?) and Reboot my system but only the background and the overall color frame has change, but the rest, my start menu, my taskbar came back as I was running Win Xp classic.
Any help would be appreciate (of course if this theme works with win 7 x64).
I got it working, I mean almost I must say, everything now the look, feel etc works just like in the screenshot above simply because I didn't patch with UniveralThemepather. After I run UTP, everything works.
Now the only thing left are the System Icons (like HDDs etc...) How do I get those icones like the screenshot?
Love this theme Been messing up with themes before, but this one is simply the best. Although it was impossible for me to change the explorerframe.dll to get the desired look, it crashed windows (7 64bit) - and therefore folder icons (minimize, maximize, close) don't show up, it's all black... I wish I could make it look like in the picture
I have found a solution - to everyone with the same problem (explorerframe.dll modification doesn't change the look of the explorer) - change the size of fonts from 125% (medium) to 100% (smaller) in Personalize -> Display, then log off and it will magically show up! Although I can't see a damn thing now, working on 13,1' laptop with 1920x1080 resolution, but the theme works as intended
Been my go-to W7 theme for as long as I can remember.
One thing I've been trying to find out though: how would I go about removing the taskbar/window gradient? It's the one thing about heylove's design that just didn't click with me, and I'd love to be able to get it all the same colour as it is on the darker side of the bar.
Tried googling but I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing.
I'm having an issue with this theme. I don't have my window controls on folders and whatnot anymore. They are there, but I don't have any icons for the buttons(minimize, max, close). Did I miss something?
Ok, I fixed that by restarting. I should have done that anyway. My bad
My other issue is that when I do something like trying to right click save as a picture, in the popup box, I don't have any folders on the left side for navigation. I'm basically stuck in whatever folder it defaults to. I don't have the up arrow back arrow; none of it. Any ideas?
Logged in after a while on dA, and so this multitude notification from you... open the section, and OMG. I could not believe my eyes you brought back two of the most beautiful VS ever made - back in XP days.
Awesome theme! I have two problems though, one of them I'm not sure if it's a problem or not >.<
First off, how do you get the icons by the hard drives to change (like in the screenshot)? I changed exlorerframe.dll and the shell folder but it's still the same.
Second, some of the text is kind of like black-on-darkgrey and hard to see, is this supposed to happen? It's most noticable in the searchbar on the start menu and the top of folders where it has the folder name. How do I change it? Sorry I'm new to changing themes and such
also the "how to install" link is gone... it shows a 404 error
